Lovely relaxing time in Mullen.  The games room was well used and a fun family time.  Dawlish Air show was great.  Awesome Reds Arrows. Becky Falls, The round robin", Dartmouth, Totnes, Paignton on the boat, bus and train was good.  Hot Pursuit cycle hire was great in Totnes with a few good routes on flat to Dartington Hall and one challenging route South on bike route 28.  Salcombe had some designer shops and is worth a visit. Overall good family holiday.    Cherith says Hi, my first time here at Pitt Farm and have loved it!   Mullen has been an awesome cottage.  The pool was a lovely treat and has given me some relaxation too.  loved the games room too, enjoyed many times in there.  My brother, mum and myself have enjoyed doing jigsaws for entertainmet in the cottage.  The "Susie's Pantry" was useful when we ran out of milk and chips one morning, also for presents.  The animals were fun to see and the bunnies were cute.  We even had a chicken come in the kitchen twice.  We shooed it out with a threat to eat it.  Two beaches were enjoyable, slapton Sands and Blackpool Sands.  I'm moving into a whole new school and I really needed this summer to relax and it's been just that here.    Stated in Mullen August 2014

We've had a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage and would have no hesitation at all in recommending Pitt Farm to anyone  who will listen!  The cottage itself is lovely - and very comfortable - but the wider attractions of the Farm, pool, shop, and daily fresh bread add to the sort of dimensions that convert good to great. You have both been the most lovely and kind hosts - thank you. With very best wishes.   Stayed in Snaffle July 2014

Dear Pete & Sue, We have had a lovely third time here and love the freedom of running from our cottage Martingale to the play area and stroking the animals.  I would recommend Salcombe as it is a lovely town and also Bantham beach as we all ran up the sand dunes and rollie pollied down as it was so warm. Next we went to the rock pools and found a fish so we put it in a bucket and made a coral reef for it.  We love the swimming pool and feeding the animals and collecting the chicken eggs.  Sue's shop is wonderful and we thank you both for the lovely welcome and the Easter egg hunt, which was great.  Thank you both very much and we will try to come again and recommend you to everyone we meet. Thanks again from Poppy (aged 8) and Mason (aged 5).

Peter & Jenny & family

We'd read all the comments in the guest book, but even then didn't quite expect Pitt Farm - or the cottage - to be as lovely as it turned out to be.  We were six adults, 3 children, and a toddler, and the facilities were great for all the family - the swimming pool and animals were the highlight for the children, while adults enjoyed tennis and table tennis (and the swimming pool too).  The cottage was very well equipped - loads of kids games, and the kitchen is exceptionally kitted out.  The weather was great, so we hit the beaches most days, but there is so much to do around here that we'll have to come back!  Thank you Pete & Sue for a wonderful holiday - we look forward to seeing you before long!!   Stayed in Kimblewick   August 2013

The Burgesses, Burds, Hunts, Kerr, Lewis, Hume and Andersons  (Aged 6 weeks - 74 years!).

Martingale was a lovely setting for our Annual Family Holiday. The setting in the well managed Devon landscape with newly turned red soil glowing red at sunrise & sunset.  Quite close to some of the nicest historic towns of Devon.  Accomodation big, good and with a super hot water system capable ofcountering spring & winter cold.  Lovely time, the children loved the pool, games room, tennis & the Easter Egg Hunt.  Lovely walks, great fun at Berry Pomeroy Castle, Buckfastleigh Steam Railway.  Cafe Asia chinese delivery V. good.   Pete & Sue very helpful, we loved the little shop, all in all a lovely stay.  Thank you. Wow, what a lovely week we've had.  Pool and games room were a great asset with two teenage boys!  Snaffle cottage is absolutely lovely and suited all 3 generations of our family well. The Queens Arms at Slapton did a fabulous meal - mixed grill, plaice, various pies - and at great prices too, and a lovely warm welcome.  Coleton Fishacre great to visit - ferry from Dartmouth, all added to a great day there.  Thank you so much, we thoroughly enjoyed our week, our only regret is that we didn't book a fortnight!      Stayed in Snaffle March 2013

The Websters and The Southerns

This seems to be the house for three generations to stay.  The weather has been very cold butt he house and swimming pool lovely and warm. Pool used every day, sometimes twice a day.  Love the area, feel there are lots of places to visit.  Thank you Pete & Sue for warm friendly welcome.  Cream tea was lovely treat.  The Easter eggs for the children was so kind.  Lounge and dining rooms - great for eleven of us.  a good time was had by all.     Stayed in Martingale    March 2013.

We used the cottage for a week to be with our family, some of whom we don't see as often as we'd like.  Celebrated our twin daughters' 30th birthday the first weekened- we especially liked the space offered by the cottage and great use was made of the pool - particularly enjoyed by our 20 month old granddaughter, Chloe.  The open fire provided many hours of entertainment owing to the challenge of keeping it alight!  All in all a great venue. Our temporary hosts Mike and Margaret were lovely and very caring.      Stayed in Kineton March 2013

The Frosts, the Bridles and The Robinsons

Nickiy's 40th.  We have had a fab time at Pitt Farm, the facilities are excellent.  Martingale had everything we needed, very spacious and clean. We've been celebrating a 40th birthday so 3 families have come together to celebrate.  The living room was an ideal space for the children to have fun.  We loved the swimming pool, games room and animals.  Visited the local town.  Views are spectacular.  (Murder, mystery tour in Kingsbridge worth doing, the kids loved it).  Thank you so much for your hospitality we will definately come back again.  It's been a fantastic break, wish we could of stayed all year.        Stayed in Martingale March 2013.

A special celebratory holiday for a 70th birthday.  It was an opportunity for our family to be together.  The cottage provided everything we needed from farm animals, heated pool, playarea for the grandchildren to comfortable accommodation for adults.  We loved sitting around the large dining room table, eating & playing games.  We visited Dartmouth, Totnes and walked on the beach in Paignton.  Pete & Sue made this cottage so cosy and offer great hospitality and great value for money.  We absolutely loved our weekend.    Stayed in Pelham March 2013.

Thomas (age 6) and Family

Dear Pete and Sue.  Thank you for letting me and my family stay in your cottage Snaffle.  The swimming pool, the games room, the tennis court, the chickens, the adventure playground were all fantastic, but my favorite of all was the swimming pool.  The best thing about the swimming pool is that we get to have some ice cream from your shop afterwards.  We love it here!  See you soon.   Stayed in Snaffle February 2013

We have had as lovely stay at Kimblewick during our rowing camp at Dart Totnes ARC.  It's been great to come back from a day of rowing to relax in  the pool and sauna.  The games have kept us entertained in the evenings too!  Hopefully we will be back next year.  Stayed in Kimblewick Jan 2013
