Jessica (aged 11) This has been one of the best holidays I have ever had! I found the pool was always satisfying and tennis was a laugh! The animals are adorable and so is everything else. We have been to Burgh Island and I would recommend it to anyone. We have also taken a boat trip in Dartmouth to kill an hour or so but the wind sure blows you about. We have also visited Morwellham Quay and it was a wonderful day out. Many thanks for the wonderful hospitality. Lucia (aged 8) Pitt Farm has been the best holiday ever. The pool was the best part of the holiday for me. The games room is so fun, in fact everything was fun. The beach was fun and that was where we went yesterday, we had so much fun at Pitt Farm, we'll be back soon (we'll miss you Pitt Farm). Emma & Nick We have had a wonderful stay at Pitt Farm. Kineton is a lovely base for a holiday. My children have enjoyed the swimming pool, tennis court anf the animals. We highly recommend Morwellham Quay for a days visit. We would also recommend the Church House Inn at Rattery. a lovely 11th Century Inn where the food is wonderful. All stayed in Kineton February half term 2012

Cold week but enjoyed the pool. Walked to the Fortescue Arms in East Allington - easy walk even for 3 year olds (but very muddy). Wondered around Totnes, painted pottery at China Blue. Visited Salcombe, the fantastic beach at Bigbury & the walk across to Burgh Island. Swimming every day - fantastic wirth the seven children in our party. Pelham is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Fun watching Pete feed the animals in the afternoon. Thanks Pete & Sue for being so accommodating, informative, friendly - wonderful cream tea and scones on arrival. Also visited Dartmouth and Dartmoor. Sorry to be leaving - we've had a ball.! Many thanks. Stayed in Pelham half term February 2012

We love this place, the accomodation is lovely and very well equipped. The area is very beautiful and was even more appreciated because of the wonderful sunshine we enjoyed in spite of it being mid October. How blesswed we have been in many ways! Many blessings to you both, hope this venture goes really well. again, a big thqank you for everything. Stayed in Mullen October 2011

This by far the best "sleep 2" cottage we have ever stayed in. This cottage is spacious, very clean and comfortable, and all the furniture/contents are of high quality. The kitchen is very well equipped. The main reason we booked this cottage was the faciilties, and they didn't disappoint. We regret we didn't have time to play tennis, but once again, the facilities we did use(pool, table tennis, pool table) were in excellent condition. Having an internal phone system was very useful. We would absolutely recommend this to a friend, and the only reason we are not booking straight away is that we tend to go to a new destination, but if ever we were to return to the area, we will be back to Pitt Farm! It has set a new benchmark for cottage holidays. Also - the ice cream was delicious. Stayed in Cavasson October 2011.
Lee, Lo, Chang & Ing Family
Dear Pete & Sue, wonderful cottage in a relaxing yet fun family holiday. The weather was perfect for the October season, sometimes forgot it was autumn and Martingale made it even more perfect as we had everything we needed! Sue made some lovely scones, jam and clotted cream for our welcome - a Devon classic! The pool and games room kept us entertained day and evening. The nearby steam train and beach made easy and fun day trips! We'll definitely be back! Thank you very much, Best wishes. Stayed in Martingale October 2011

Lovely stay with good weather. The Seabreeze cafe at Torcross was nice for a cream tea. The area is really nice. Salcombe is well worth a visit and the ice cream is not to be missed. Dartmouth is always great to visit. The cottage is well placed and there is lots to do in the area. We shall certainly be back. Stayes in Snaffle October 2011

We have enjoyed our ten day stay at Pitt Farm and the welcoming hospitality of Sue & Pete Gray. Our visit was enhanced by the glorious weather we have had during our stay. Did lots of hiking and exploring old haunts from childhood days 50 years ago. Brought back so many memories. Thank you Sue & Pete for helping make our visit so good. P.S. The Crabshell in Kingsbridge is everything we have been told. Great food. Try the crab bisque - a meal in itself. Stayed in Cavasson September /October 2011

Our first time at Pitt Farm .....was wonderful. Harry (aged 2 1/2) loved the pool and feeding the animals. The "indian summer"weather helped... sunbathing and paddling on such lovely beaches at this time of year was amazing. Found "Oyster Shack" on way back from Bantham beach - what a find! Amazing seafood. Also ate a lovely meal at the Fortescue Arms, 5 minutes drive away. Hope to be back next summer.... thank you! Stayed in Mullen September 2011

From the moment we walked into the house, we felt the warmth and hospitality which was evident from all the lovely touches - from the milk in the fridge to the bottle of wine. You cannot hope to meet nicer than the team here: Pete, Sue, Graham, Cassie and Tom: they simply restore your faith in humanity! The weather was kind to us, the tennis court is awesome, the pool is great and the tranquility is priceless. Pete & team we wish you every success with your venture and thank you again for a memorable stay. Stayed in Kineton September 2011.

Would definately love to return here and to South Devon, thanks for making our stay so great. Stayed in Kineton September 2011

We had a lovely relaxing time here at Pitt Farm. We really appreciated the warm welcome, the cream tea on arrival, the wine and the milk(!!). We found Mullen and the farm as a whole very quiet and relaxing. Our girls (3 & 4) enjoyed the space and particularly enjoyed feeding the animals, the play area & the pool - we struggled to lure them away from the farm! The area as a whole has so much to offer with such beautiful beaches - we particularly enjoyed the charm of Hope Cove & scale of views at Bantham, Salcombe is definately worth a visit for the waterfront hustle & bustle. We have barely scratched the surface so will have to stay longer next time. Thank you so much for a fantastic week. Stayed in Mullen August/September 2011

have had a lovely holiday here in Kineton. The cottage is superbly equipped & the facilities are excellent for all ages! The weather was dry and sunny which did help! We visited lots of places including Pennywell Farm - a MUST with young children - we spent all day there, there is so much to see & do. Also the "round robin" on the boat from Totnes, train from Kigswear and open top bus from Paignton to Totnes. Good beaches for the little ones are Bantham and Bigbury - good rock pools and sand. China Blue at Totnes is excellent for glass blowing and other crafty things - good coffee shop too! All in all a really good visit. Stayed in Kineton August/September 2011

Pitt Farm has been a lovely location for our three generation family holiday this year and Kimblewick has proved an ideal cottage for 8 of us to stay. The little ones have loved the animals and the play area and we have all enjoyed the pool. Sadly we didn't get round to using the tennis court - maybe next time! This was our first visit to the South Hams and we relly love the area, with visits to Totnes and Dartmouth topping the list. Thank you for making us so welcome, we would love to come back. We enjoyed our week, and found Pete and Sue charming hosts. The children loved the pool and games room and some improved their tennis. Our cottage had everything (and more) that we needed, and all felt very much at home. We know the area quite well but the family discovered other places of interest. This is our 12th consecutive year at Pitt Farm! Most of which has been in Mullen. Weather was not so kind to us for the last half of the week but it didn't deter Duncan from enjoying the surf. We had lovely meat again from the butchers in Loddiswell - we highly recommend it. Thanks again to Pete and Sue for a friendly welcome and the nice touches like wine, milk and cream tea on arrival! We'll be back again - especially if we could book the weather too! Stayed in Mullen August 2011 Note from Pete They have booked again for the next 2 years, congratulations to Ali on his A level results and Duncan gets the award for the longest time in the Sea (5 hours one day without a wet suit!)
Jon, Sarah, Emily (9) and Matthew (5)
This was our second visit to Pitt Farm, and has once again been a great week. The weather wasn't brilliant, but it didn't matter. We spent a lot of time swimming, playing tennis and pool. A good family day out was Woodlands Adventure Park. There was something for every age of child, and well worth the money. Bantham beach was lovely, even in the rain, as we had it all to ourselves, so the cricket ball didn't get in anyones way. Hope to return again. Stayed in Snaffle August 2011
Too many guests to list!

We have had great fun here at Pitt Farm. We loved the tennis court and swimming pool, we visited them every morning. The cottage was great. I found there was enough room for us all to fit in properly. We loved using the BBQ outside and we ate on the outside bench most nights. We also found lots of good beaches. Bigbury was great and quite large and we had great surfing lessons on Bantham. We found both had great sand, rockpools and sea which baby James (9 months) enjoyed. We visited Dartmouth Castle on dressing up day and they did sword fighting, mini scenes of the castles history and a great walk. Unfortunately it was hard to park there. Another place we went to was a pub, The Fortescue Arms, we did a quick walk from Pitt Farm, ask Pete for directions. Overall this holiday was great and we are hoping to come here again next year. We had a super family week here, blessed by dry if not truly warm weather. the evening walk to the Fortescue Arms has become a delightful ritual past the sheep and the huge expanse of bluebells. We had great day trips to the South Devon Railway to see Thomas and his friends and to Paignton Zoo. Both great value for money and more than you can do in a day. both willl be worthy of return visits when we next come, albeit there is so much more to see. Staying here (on the Farm) for a day is fun too. We like the light and bright public rooms in the cottage, and having a good sized lounge. The pool, the animals and the play areea gave us a lot to do. Thank you Pitt Farm, see you again. Stayed in Kineton May 2011
